OUR BRAND

Name Arηs (pronounce [aris]) comes from Greek mythology. Arηs is the son of Zeus and the God of War – in our eyes, an accurate representation of the intelligence, strategy, leadership and vision that are essential in business. The “η” is a Greek eta, pronounced [i] in modern Greek. Our logo is a blend of the Greek letter eta and a Greek soldier’s helmet.

MEET THE MANAGEMENT

JOURDAN SERDERIDIS

Founder

After his Science education at the University of Liege, Mr Serderidis started his career in 1988 at Wang in Belgium and joined Olivetti in 1991 on several commercial positions in the European Institutions department that he led from 1995 until 1997. In 1997 he joined Intrasoft as Sales & Marketing Manager and participated actively in its growth. Mr Serderidis founded Cronos Technologies in 1999 (together with Cronos nv main shareholders) and then left in 2002 and founded Arηs together with his first line management. Mr Serderidis has been awarded “finalist of the Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2009 in Luxembourg. Mr Serderidis was born in 1964 and is of Greek nationality.

PIERRE NOEL

Partner

Mr Noel is co-founder of Arηs Developments. He holds a Civil Engineer Degree from the University of Liege and a Postgraduate degree from the Solvay Business School. He built his career at IBM, Cockerill Sambre, Sema-Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Belgium. Through these positions, he has gained a wide experience in project management, systems implementation and finance process improvements. At Arηs Developments, Pierre is managing and synchronizing the operations. Mr Noel was born in 1963 and is of Belgian nationality.

JEAN-PHILIPPE ROCH

Partner

Mr Roch is co-founder of Arηs Developments and holds a Commercial Engineer degree from the Solvay Business School (University of Brussels) and obtained a Postgraduate degree in International Taxation. He has a 12 years experience as corporate tax specialist at Deloitte & Touche Luxembourg and HRT which enables him to gain wide skills in tax, audit, finance, accountancy and company Law. Mr Roch was born in 1970 and is of Belgian nationality.

NATHALIE VANDERVELDE

Administration Director

Ms Vandervelde is co-founder of Arηs Developments and holds a Industrial Engineer degree (specialized in Chemistry). After an initial career in Monsanto in Louvain-La-Neuve, she entered the I.T. sector at Three-I, in Belgium in 1996 then in Luxembourg. In 1999, she joined Cronos and managed all administrative matters there, then in Arηs. Ms Vandervelde was born in 1969 and is of Belgian Nationality.

JEAN FRANCOIS PITZ

Technical Director

Mr Pitz holds a Civil Engineer Degree from the University of Liege. He worked in an I.T. service company from 1993 until 2002 as development Architect and Project Leader, especially for financial institutions in Luxembourg. In 2002, he joined Cronos Technologies then started Arηs together with Mr Noel, Roch and Serderidis. Mr Pitz is responsible for the technical orientation of the company and all technical matters related to projects. Competence centers and internal systems are also under his responsibility. Mr Pitz was born in 1969 and is of Belgian Nationality.

CHRISTOPHE GROSJEAN

Managing Director Arηs Spikeseed

Christophe holds a Master Degree in Computer Science and a Postgraduate in Law and Management of ICT from the University of Namur (FUNDP), where he also worked during one year as researcher in human-computer interaction. He joined Business Solutions Builders as consultant in IT development projects for the financial sector in Brussels (Puilaetco) and Luxembourg (Lombard). In 2005, Christophe joined Arηs Developments as Software Architect, Delivery Manager and finally Project Director for European Commission projects. In 2014, Christophe launched Arηs Spikeseed. Mr Grosjean was born in 1977 and is of Belgian nationality.

MARC SALM

Bid Director

Mr Salm studied Computer Science at the Universities of Trier and Hagen. After joining Mediacare in 2000, he took the role of Team Leader and Project Manager. In 2007 Mr Salm joined Arηs Developments as Senior Analyst Developer and then Delivery Manager for European Commission projects. In 2009, Mr Salm is appointed as Bid Director and is entering in the Management Board. Mr Salm was born in 1976 and is of German nationality.

KARLIEN GLADINE

Sales Director & Managing Director Arηs Developments Italia

Karlien Gladine holds a Master in Economics with a specialization in Human Resource Management (EHSAL). After graduating in 2001, she built her career in several IT companies such as Ariane II and Intrasoft, from Recruitment Consultant till Sales & Delivery Manager. She joined Arηs Developments in 2010. She became Sales Director and entered the Management Board in 2015. Karlien was born in 1978 and is of Belgian nationality.

PAULO APOLINARIO

Managing Director Arηs Cube and Arηs Portugal

Mr Apolinario holds a Degree in Computer Science from the Centre Universitaire de Luxembourg (www.uni.lu). He started his IT career in 1995 at the CRP Gabriel Lippman as IT researcher. After 3 years he moved to the IT services sector, through different positions in MarchFirst and Cronos/Sword. In 2010 after having gathered a managerial experience of 10 years, Mr Apolinario joined Arηs to launch a new subsidiary in the Group, Arηs Cube. Mr Apolinario was born in 1974, has both Luxembourgish and Portuguese nationalities and is fluent in 5 languages.

SEBASTIEN BRAUN

Managing Director Arηs Consulting

Sebastien holds a Master SID (Systèmes d’Information Distribués) obtained at the University of Nancy in 2004. Immediately after his studies he joined Intech where he worked as junior developer then developer for different customers such as Arcelor Mittal and the CTIE. In 2007 Sebastien joined Arηs Developments as BI Consultant on a major project for Proximus on which he became Delivery Manager. After 3 years he has been assigned Arηs Consulting in order to manage several projects involving the Luxemburgish public sector and the CTIE. In 2014 Sebastien became Operations Director for Arηs Spikeseed and Arηs Consulting for which he is now Managing Director. Sebastien was born in 1981 in Thionville (France).

STEVEN GERMEYS

Managing Director Arηs Technology

Mr Germeys studied Company Management at the KHLeuven and obtained a Postgraduate degree in Business Economics at Vlekho Brussels. He has over 20 years experience in commercial and operational management having worked at several companies such as Dell, Sun Microsystems and Ordina. Before joining Arηs Mr Germeys worked as commercial director at Cegeka supervising all commercial activities. In 2015, he joined Arηs to launch a new subsidiary in the Group, Arηs Technology. Mr Germeys was born in 1971 and is of Belgian nationality.

Lara Vanneste

Managing Director Fleetback

Ms Vanneste was a professional rally co-driver who competed in the FIA World Rally and European Rally Championship. Thanks to her versatility and language skills, she stands out as one of the sport’s most proficient international female co-drivers and has won several national titles and trophies in national and international championships.
Lara graduated from HOGent, obtaining Master’s Degree in Language Translation and Interpretation. She speaks 6 languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Luxembourgish.
Before joining Arηs Group Ms Vanneste worked in several sales positions in real estate and automotive industry. In 2016 she became Account Manager for Arηs Spikeseed and Fleetback. She continued her career at Fleetback as Sales Director and as of 2019 – Managing Director. Ms. Vanneste was born in 1990 and is of Belgian nationality.

GEORGIOS KARATZAS

Managing Director, Arηs Developments Hellas

Mr Karatzas holds an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Degree from the National Technical University of Athens and a MSc Degree in Computer Science from the University of Patras. He joined European Dynamics’ Business Development dpt in 2005 that he led from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, he joined UniSystems as Sales Manager and actively participated in its international growth. Mr Karatzas joined Arhs in 2018. He was born in 1976 and is of Greek nationality.

GUNTHER ROOBAERT

Managing Director Arηs Digital

Gunther holds a Master Degree in Business and Technology from HUB-EHSAL and a Master of Management from the VUB in Brussels. In addition Gunther obtained an MBTI certification from Cranfield University (UK). He started his career in 1993 at Teradata (Part of NCR and AT&T) as an account manager. After 12 years going through several commercial positions, Gunther became Director for Teradata Belgium and Luxemburg.
In 2012 Gunther joined Arηs to launch a new subsidiary in the Group, Arηs Digital. Gunther was born in 1967 and is fluent in 4 languages.

Athanasios (Sakis) KOTSIS

Director – Strategy and International Development

Mr. Kotsis holds a Master in Informatics and Business from Karlsruhe Universität (DE) and a Bachelor in Mathematics from University of Athens. He is an experienced Executive Manager, who has held various management positions such as Chairman, Managing Director, General Manager, COO, CSO, etc. He is one of the founders of the 2,000 employees strong INTRASOFT International Group of companies. During his career Mr. Kotsis has successfully managed geographical and vertical expansions across three continents, developed strategic alliances, and carried out mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Kotsis joined ARHS Group in 2020, is born in 1960, and has dual Greek and Belgian nationality.

Nikos Mavraganis

CEO Finartix

Nikos has an IT background, and more than 25 years experience in Banking Sales and New Markets Business and Partner Development. His past activities cover a wide range within EMEA market with focus in CEE markets developing direct entities and partnerships emphasizing in Digital Banking, Payments, Core Banking, Wealth/Portfolio Management and Self Service Automation & Branch Transformation.

Andreas Diamanteas

Executive Chairman, Finartix

Andreas has a Banking and IT background, developing and delivering complex banking projects with a wide range of activities in ΕΜΕΑ markets, emphasising East Africa, and developing Core Banking and Payments initiatives. He is a PMP certified and has significant track record in banks transformation, delivering projects on budget, time & quality. He is also a Board Member of Hellenic African Chamber of Commerce.
